"The Best Place To Start Your Weekend", as Charlie Utter says, local foreign musician and our music communities singer/songwriter! And he's right - it really is. Rapscallions open mic has become one of the largest and consistent live music events in Shenzhen. Every week 10-20 local musicians, including foreign and Chinese artists come out. The bar is standing room only by 9:30 and the music doesn't miss a beat until Rue and Adrian, the hosts play the last song around 2a.m.    Raps open mic started after the absolute success of the 2012 Blues and Folk Festival, organized by Shenzhenlocalmusic.com  Since then the Raps and SZLM have teamed up to create a live music environment that includes the entire community.    Come check it out, play a song, drink and be merry!
