IELTS Examiner

Dear colleague,
IELTS is the worldwide leader in standardised testing of English language proficiency for non-native English language speakers. IELTS China conducts tests at over 40 Test Centres all over China and we are currently looking for suitably qualified and experienced individuals to join our team of IELTS Examiners. To apply you will need to demonstrate the following:
• An undergraduate degree or a qualification which can be demonstrated to be the equivalent of an undergraduate degree.
• A recognised qualification in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) or recognised equivalent as part of a recognised university award course.
(For applicants whose certificates are not in English a legal transcription of course content must be presented along with all original documents.).
• At least three years’ full time (or the equivalent part-time) relevant TESOL teaching experience (minimum one year post certificate level qualification). The majority of this teaching experience must relate to adult students (16 +).
• The required professional attributes and interpersonal skills. (This is demonstrated in the application where the applicant must write clearly and concisely on a range of topics related to their teaching experience).

• For non-Chinese nationals it is important that you have the legal right to work in China, i.e. you have a work visa, before making the application. Please enclose a scanned copy of your visa with your application.
