One is the pants below the underwear thing. My brother does that a bit, used to do it more, I NEVER NEVER understood why...it just looks ridiculous to me. They don't even have nice underwear to show off! The second one is the tipping. I'm fully aware that servers and people in related jobs get TERRIBLE pay, and so come to rely on tips. But what I can't understand is the way that the same servers do their best to make customers feel bad for not tipping "enough" (or at all), even when the service is terrible. They should be taking up their pay issues with their bosses, not with customers! If I don't feel it was worth a tip, then I shouldn't have to pay one! Europe has a good balance on tipping, and the heart of the matter is that when restaurant workers don't get tips, they reflect on whether or not it's because the diner's experience was good enough or not. The vast majority of people will tip when they have a good time. I certainly do. I gave a bartender in London a 4.80 tip on a 15.20 round of drinks because he was just superb to us and everyone else all evening. He wasn't even my type! Tipping is on the increase in China, anyway. More people now are getting a really great dining experience, and also get used to the idea from traveling to foreign countries. It has been quite common practice in nightclubs to tip waiters since as early as 2006-7, and now you see it a lot more in fancy restaurants. Nowhere near like America, though, but it's a first step. I can only imagine sleeping in bed or on the sofa with shoes if I was wasted and kind of passed out there, hahahaha. Most of this stuff is bollocks. The diet soda one was interesting, but I notice a lot of diet soda drinkers drink it just because they get used to the taste of it and prefer it. I'm like that with diet coke. I don't drink any other diet drinks, but that one I love for some reason Yeah I literally don’t know of a single American who goes to bed with shoes on…unless it was a drunk person the writer saw do once? A few months ago, Charles Liu was constantly posting articles insinuating this and that against "foreigners" in China. Since having been called on it, he has become sneakier (and thenanfang has become more shameless for allowing him to stay on). Shoes in bed? Did one Chinese person once see one American do this, so now this is common "American" culture? I don't know anyone who goes to bed with shoes on unless they are passed out drunk - just as a passed out drunk Chinese person would do. What about the Chinese people who are Americans? Do they not also drink the clean tap water? Its because they live in a place with clean tap water!!! Not because they are "American!" Does Charles actually get paid to write this garbage? BTW Chinese people have pets! My building here is filled with them. I would say half the residents in my building have dogs. Not a rich building btw. I live in an old cheap building People wear light clothing if it is warm and heavy clothing if it is hot. This has nothing to do with culture. Again a Chinese person once saw an American under-dressed in winter and now that means it is a common part of American culture in Charles Liu's eyes. Lets ignore the other 99.99999% of Americans right now (Jan/28/2015) who are wearing layers and hats, scarves and gloves in the cold winter as I write this. Another Bullsheet article by Charles Liu.

I really hope nobody has to endure what I went through.
