Tropical Grill is a cafe serving fresh baked bread, bagels, wraps, cakes and a full breakfast. In the evenings, it transforms into more of a bistro with a menu that includes, of all things, burritos, and quesadillas.

I have been to Tropical Grill on several occasions. I can tell you that this is the best place in Dongguan for western food. And I don't say that without letting you know that I have tried many of the Italian, Thai, Steak places in Dongguan. They make their own bagels and breads, have awesome chicken wings and delicious cheesecake. Normally when in China, it is impossible to find real NY style cheesecake. They have it here. The owner is named Fred and is very personable each time you come. He really makes you feel at home in a far away country. I LOVE this place!

I have been coming to China/Hong Kong for over 10 years. Outside of Shanghai and Hong Kong its nearly impossible to find really good Western style food. I finally found a great spot in Dongguan. The menu has such a variety of foods. You can eat every meal there and i have for the past 2 day. For breakfast i had the bagels, lox, cream cheese with a really good omellete. Lunch i have had the burger with fries and awesome buffalo wings. Last night i had chicken fajitas that were as good as many mexican places in the US. For dessert you must have the cheesecake. The owner Fred makes a really good mojito. I highly recommend this place if you are craving a little bit of the homeland.
