The scene of the accident

A military helicopter lost control over Shantou in Guangdong Province this morning, landing on a house and injuring at least 3, according to Southern Metropolis Daily.

At around 9 a.m. the pilot lost control above the downtown area of Jinping District. He parachuted to safety but three people were in the house that it landed on and were taken to hospital with their injuries, another got out in time.

One of the injured, a 26 year-old woman, is now in a stable condition. We’ll keep you updated as rescue efforts continue.
