Rong Bao Zhai, an enterprise that has been distributing art and calligraphy since 1672, will open a branch in Guangzhou at the end of September. The branch, which will be at 123 Donghu Road in Yuexiu District, will become the first in Guangdong Province.

The enterprise, whose business scope also covers selling high quality paper, fans and stationery, has five other branches, including ones in Tianjin and Changsha.

It became a state-owned enterprise in 1952 and in 2011 was placed on the first batch of national intangible cultural heritage list.

The store in Guangzhou will be the biggest yet, with its own exhibition hall.
