Halloween party buses, standup comedy, breakdancing and magic in Shenzhen

Halloween’s finally here! The city is full of frightful fancy festivities. Check out what’s happening tonight and this weekend:

Oct. 31st - Halloween PARTY ON WHEELS - Join the FRESH Crew on a party bus driving all over Shenzhen stopping at different locations to dance and act scary in your best Halloween costumes.

Oct. 31st – Halloween Frisbee Trick or Treat @ The Children’s Palace - Learn skils of throwing and catching a frisbee, and maybe how to decapitate someone. Earn free candy if you come in costume. Frisbee Trick or Treat!

Oct. 31st - FOREPLAY presents: Bar hopping Halloween! – The second Halloween party bus in town hitting up different locations around town. Foreplay is a relatively new crew to Shenzhen offering unique parties and events.

Oct. 31st – Dream Night Magic Show by Yunke (Spanish Magician) – A real magician in town on Halloween? Sounds like something fun and interesting to do rather than the played out same bars in Shenzhen.

Oct. 31st - Halloween Party @ Coyotes Mexican Cantina – One of the only Mexican restaurants in Shenzhen is having a Halloween party in their Shekou branch. All you can eat Mexican snacks for 100RMB and Half Price Margaritas?? Por Favor!

Nov. 2nd - Hustle and Freeze 8 – Breakdancing Competition – Breakdancing can showcase some of the coolest movements in dance that sometimes seem impossible. Come out to Shekou to watch something really special.

Nov. 2nd – Takeout Comedy! English Standup Comedy Show in Shenzhen – THIS SATURDAY! – Takeout Comedy returns and this time they are invading Shekou. Trimmed down to only the best comedians from their last show and including two more seasoned performers. Guaranteed to leave you laughing. Vivek the headliner is hilarious. – Postponed to Nov. 9th

Nov. 3rd – Sunday Ultimate Frisbee by the SZUPA – Join a growing group of expats and local Chinese players play the fast growing international sport: Ultimate.

Halloween Rock Fest, boat parties and free pizza in Shenzhen this weekend

Halloween’s almost here, but that’s not the only reason to get your party on this weekend. Check out what’s happening:

Oct. 25th - Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Seminar by Wang Sheng Fight Club – Wang Sheng Fight Club is a martial arts school and club here in Shenzhen. Join them this Friday to experience one of the best coaches in the world teach Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Oct. 25th - Internations Oktoberfest @ Hana Pizza – The Social Network Internations has many activities for people to meet each other in Shenzhen, usually at very beautiful venues around the city with the goal of helping expats mingle. This month’s event is no different, but now they’re throwing in all you can eat pizza and drinks.

Oct. 25th-26th – Halloween Rock Festival – Get set for the Shenzhen Halloween Rock Festival!

Oct. 26th - End of Summer Boat Party @ Da Ya Bay – Boat parties seem much more common in Hong Kong. Here’s your chance to experience one here in Shenzhen. A day out in the ocean swimming, fishing, and drinking (of course). Sounds like a good time to me.

Oct. 27th – Shenzhen Dog Adoption Day – The first ever Shenzhen dog adoption day will be held Sunday October 27th at Haide Square. The event will feature an adoption site, free medical consultation, a charity flea market, and much more.

Oct. 27th – Sunday Ultimate Frisbee by the SZUPA – Join a growing group of expats and local Chinese players play the fast growing international sport: Ultimate.

Oct. 27th – Luna Sunday Cinema: Shaun of the Dead - Enjoy great food and classic movies at one of Shekou’s best bars, Luna Bar. This week’s scary movie: Shaun of the Dead
