A security guard at a primary school in Guangzhou and a teacher at a primary school in Shenzhen have both confessed to molesting female students, local media have reported.

The mother of a student at Chentian Primary School in Guangzhou’s Baiyun District called police saying that her 8 year-old daughter had been violated. A subsequent investigation saw the school’s security guard confess to molesting her, Dushi News reported yesterday.

The 8 year-old Xiao Hua told reporters: “I’d gone out to the shop to buy some paper for a classmate. When I got back (the security guard) groped me and then started rubbing both the upper and lower parts of my body.”

Xiao Hua’s mother said the girl was crying for half of the night and had to be held and comforted.

The complaint was made at 8 p.m. Monday and the security guard, Li, had already been dismissed by 10 p.m., local authorities claimed. Huangshi Police are investigating the case.

Xiao Hua’s mother is still demanding for her daughter to be transferred to another school and to be provided with counselling.

Mr. Wu, who confessed to violating female students in Shenzhen’s Nanshan District.

A similar case also emerged from Shenzhen yesterday. A 42 year-old teacher at Hongji Primary School in Shenzhen’s Nanshan District confessed to violating female students after the parents of four students called police, acting on claims made by students who said they had seen him in the act, Guangzhou Daily reported on its microblog.

One of the four alleged victims of the 42 year-old Mr. Wu still bears the scars of his sexual assault, according to the paper.

These cases emerged just days after that of the Leizhou school principal who confessed to raping two students. This was preceded by the Hainan hotel sex abuse scandal in which at least six girls were taken into hotel rooms with their principal near Wanning No. 2 Primary School where they study.

Ye Haiyan challenges the principal

Yesterday, an image of a middle-aged woman offering a line of protection between sex predators and children went big on Sina Weibo.

On Monday, Ye Haiyan stood outside the school holding a sign which read:

Principal, if you’re getting a hotel room, get one with me. Leave the children alone.

Followed by a phone number.
