A girl is recovering in Taihe Hospital in Guangzhou’s Baiyun District after being kidnapped, tied up and tortured for a month, according to Look East.

It is believed that she was kept in Maofengshan where she was seen on April 29 running down the street and pleading for help. Her injuries suggest that she was subjected to cigarette burning and beaten.

The girl went to Foshan a month ago to work but was kidnapped and taken to Guangzhou, she claims.

In the news report, the girl, still traumatised can be seen yelling that her food is too spicy before shouting at the journalists telling them to go away.
