Set your alarm for Super Bowl parties across the PRD

It’s that time of year, when laowai everywhere call in sick, skip classes or take the day off — and one of the few legitimate reasons to down pint after pint of draft beer before 9am: Super Bowl Sunday (Monday, in our case).

There are plenty of places to catch the game between the Green Bay Packers and Pittsburgh Steelers in snowy Dallas.  We have a full list in our Events section, but below are some of the places where you can pull up a stool, grab some breakfast and catch the game.  Kick off is at 7:30am our time.

Dongguan

• One for the Road will offer an all-you-can-eat breakfast for RMB 70.  Bar opens at 6am, and they suggest you reserve your place in advance. (Details)

Guangzhou

• Hooley’s Irish Pub will throw open its doors at 7am with a full Irish breakfast and coffee for RMB 48.  They also note that Bloody Marys will go for RMB 30. (Details)
• The Tavern in Tianhe will have happy hour all day long. (Details)

Shenzhen

• The Snake Pit opens at 6:30am and will serve breakfast for RMB 50. (Details)
• X-Ta-Sea Sports Bar is offering up a full breakfast and one bloody mary for RMB 100. (Details)
