Every pet owner’s nightmare has come true for one dog owner in Heshan, Guangdong Province.

Beijing Cream has drawn our attention to a dog snatching there that lasted only a couple of seconds.

As you see in the video, the van pulls up and barely even stops as a man hangs out the door and tosses a hook into the pup.  It is pulled into the van as the driver slams it into reverse and takes off.

Dog snatchings aren’t uncommon in China, so this is a good reminder to keep ol’ Sparky within eye-sight at all times.  If African elephants don’t stand a chance amid Chinese demand, neither will your pet.
