Shenzhen Weekend: Networking, Beer Competition, Japanese Rock, Music Fest, Whiskey & Words

The weather continues to be terrible in Shenzhen, but there are a lot of things you can do indoors this weekend. And if you’re brave, outdoors too! Check ‘em out:

Apr. 3rd – Thursday Frisbee Throwing Training by the SZUPA – Join the SZUPA Thursdays if you’d like to learn the basics of throwing and catching a frisbee.

Apr. 3rd - Stammtisch Bierhaus – Come join the monthly networking event by the German Chamber at Bierhaus in Shekou.

Apr. 3rd - Connect Shenzhen @ La Casa – Enjoy some discounted drinks and some free pizza in the pursuit of making some new connections thanks to ConnectShenzhen.

Apr. 4th - Don’t Go Home Tonight Beer Competition @ Hawa – 100RMB for entry into an all you can drink beer competition. Last man standing wins a month of free beer at Hawa.

Apr. 5th - Japanese Instrumental Rock Band OVUM 2014 China Tour – Shenzhen – Japanese instrumental rock band pay a visit to Shenzhen to let you experience their sometimes beautiful yet aggressive melodies at B10 Live!

Apr. 5th - “Progress” Progressive Music Fest @ Light Club(in association with Psy Tribe – Psytribe will be bringing you another trippy experience showcasing progressive tunes. This time at Light Club.

Apr. 6th – Whisky & Words Festival – Whisky & Words…in other words, an open mic featuring you drinking whisky. Seems appropriate to me. You have my blessing!

Apr. 6th - Ultimate Frisbee in Futian! Sunday Pickup 12:30PM @ Lianhua Middle School – The SZUPA meet every Sunday to play Ultimate Frisbee. This week we will meet 12:30PM at Lianhua Middle School. Afterwards we’ll have food and drinks together at Frankies American Bar.
